“Carry out mission” is inspired by all the women that came before me. All the women that survived and persevered. All the women that shared their love and kindness with others. Carrying deep scars and duties, they shared and cared for children as much as they could at the time.
This painting is about the ones that carried out their missions, survived atrocities, flourished and shared love with next generations of children and grandchildren. An ode to my Grandmothers.
