About The Artist

Greetings!

 

Raised in Russia and the Czech Republic, a "professional immigrant", Mary Lindseth is now based on the northern prairie of the USA, in rural North Dakota. Mary's work builds on layers of her multicultural experiences: processing human emotions, overcoming hardships, and exploring life with joy as her newly found modus operandi.

 

Inspired by expression in physical form and humanity: nature, textures, light, sounds, and movement of life, Lindseth creates raw, vibrant abstract art. Expressive abstract paintings, airy landscapes, dynamic collages: all crafted with rich layers and depth, visually and metaphorically. Each work is a translation of life's moments into color, movement and texture, created with radiant joy and raw honesty.

The viewer is encouraged to interact with the work, explore questions evoked by it and experience a full range of emotions, freely and without judgements.
